Almadex’s purpose is to create wealth for all stakeholders by discovering new mineral deposits.
Discovery involves know-how, intellectual capital, and the capacity to execute. Even then, the odds are long that any project will make the grade. Over four decades of prospecting, discovery, and deal-making, our team has honed a strategy for success.
At the core of our philosophy is belief in our ideas, the audacity to continue to explore, and a passion to share the joy of discovery with our stakeholders. Our strategy is simple and effective:
Always seek to better understand the science of why and where deposits form.
Look for similar attributes along trends or where no trends have yet been recognised.
Use the best scientific instruments and tools. Collect good datasets and analyse them well.
Drill and drill often.
Despite the science, allow for instinct and the artful mystery of the Universe to reveal itself.
Be prepared to abandon projects when appropriate. But don’t give up too early. Most discoveries require persistence.
Our Focus
Almadex’s technical team is currently focused exclusively on the western United States. We believe the combined political and social appreciation of exploration and responsible mining, the increasing demand for domestic critical metal supply, and—most importantly—the rich geologic endowment make the area the best place to explore in the world.
Since 2022, our exploration has generated a portfolio of new early-stage projects in Nevada and Arizona. We plan to explore each project with inexpensive geological work and advance the most promising to the drill stage. We will then drill the projects with clear targets in the hope of immediate discovery or to guide further exploration.
We are not a development company. In the happy event of discovery, we would seek a partner to develop the project, allowing us to again refocus our attention on the next discovery. We invite you to follow our progress and welcome any opportunity to discuss the journey to discovery.
The Almadex Model
Almadex takes a creative approach to the business of exploration. Four decades ago, Almadex’s principals began with the Joint Venture model, a risk management strategy which allows us to maintain a large and active project portfolio. Since then, we have spun out new companies, created and sold royalties, developed in-house drilling, acquired technical equipment and trained people how to use it, and entered strategic investments to advance our business in the best way possible for shareholders. We continually search for the best way to maximize shareholders’ exposure to discovery.

In-House Drilling & Exploration
Discoveries are made by drilling. Almadex has six company-owned drills, four of which are man-portable to enable our team to access difficult and mountainous terrain. Almadex’s ability to drill faster and cheaper with complete company control is a key factor to our success.
